Independent artists in 2025 manage an average of 6–8 different platforms. Instagram and TikTok for engagement, Spotify and Bandcamp for distribution, Eventbrite for tickets, Discord for communities.
There is no platform built around the lived experience of being a music fan — attending concerts, discovering local talent, joining fan communities and getting closer to the artists they love. Labels and booking agencies have no efficient digital channel to discover, vet and contact emerging talent at scale.

Artists spend more time managing platforms than making music. Fans have no true home online. We built OffRecord to solve both problems at once.
OffRecord was founded by Jesse, a music lover and entrepreneur based in Amsterdam. The idea came from personal frustration — constantly switching between apps as a fan, and watching artists struggle to manage their online presence across too many platforms.

After years of frustration with fragmented music platforms, Jesse begins designing OffRecord.
Full prototype built with Expo, Supabase and Cloudflare R2. Core features go live: Stage, Backstage, Map, Open Spots.
First public launch in the Netherlands and Belgium. Payments, messaging and push notifications go live.
Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK join the platform. Web version and partner API launch.
